5 Reasons Why You Should Stay at a Boutique Hotel Instead of a Resort

When preparing to book your next vacation in Los Cabos, there are a wide range of accommodations to choose from. However, there is much to be said about the many advantages of staying in a boutique hotel instead of a resort. For those who prefer a quiet and intimate vacation experience in a unique beach vacation spot on Mexico’s pacific, a boutique hotel is exactly what you’re looking for.

1. Intimate Surroundings

One of the advantages of a boutique hotel instead of a resort is an offer of intimacy. Hotel Casa Natalia, for example, only offers 18 charming boutique suites in the heart of San José del Cabo’s historic city center. Not only do you get to enjoy smaller scale installations, but you’re literally steps away from all the charm the city has to offer. Most often, large scale resorts are quite removed from any city center, which make it time consuming to leave the resort at all.

2. Personalized Service

Due to the fact that a boutique hotel offers more intimate surroundings and fewer suites, staff are able to ensure that guests experience more a much more personalized service experience. Furthermore, smaller installations mean a smaller team of staff, which allows for guests to familiarize themselves with staff another during their vacation.

3. Authentic Experience

Being steps away from the city center allows for a one-of-a-kind vacation experience perfect for guests are looking to experience the authentic culture of the area in which they are staying. Outside the hotel walls, Casa Natalia is surrounded by quaint cobblestone streets, charming Spanish-inspired colonial buildings, family-owned jewelry shops, inviting restaurants and, of course, the natural beauty of Baja California.

4. Fabulous Dining

Most large chain hotels and resorts offer limited dining options that often don’t go much further than buffets and repetitive cuisine. A boutique hotel like Casa Natalia offers exquisite dining at our in-house restaurants. A San José del Cabo favorite, Mi Cocina & Baja Oyster Bar offer an innovative and exquisite take on Mexican and European cuisine. Our celebrated chef works with local fishermen, farmers and ranchers to source the freshest fish, organic vegetables and farm-raised meats.

5. Increased Safety

Smaller installations mean less staff and guests on-site, which make it much easier to maintain rigorous safety and sanitation protocols. The team at Casa Natalia boutique hotel have undergone extensive safety and sanitation protocol training, with the security of each and every one of our guests as one of our highest priorities.
