For a peaceful early morning walk, the San Jose’s Estuary and Bird Sanctuary is a pleasant way to take in the local wildlife and enjoy nature. There are often fantastic nature photography opportunities, and the estuary is close to the sea. Here you can see Egrets, pelicans, moorhens, herons, ducks, woodpeckers, cormorants, and similar waterfowl. If you love nature, you will love this walk.

Recently, the Mexican Senate gave final approval to a measure that will raise the sales tax in Baja California and other border regions by 5 percentage points, effective January 2014. At that time, all businesses and hotels in the Baja California Sur, including us, will need to reflect that increase in their prices.
